Today, on 01/10/2018, in the framework of “INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PEOPLE” in the “Social Center Balashe” in the City of Elbasan, opened the doors for the first residents of “Old People’s Asylum”. “INTERNATIONAL COOPERATIVE CENTER” ICC has used the funds provided by Donors, in support of “Elbasan Municipality” through an agreement, whereby the “INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATIVE CENTER” undertook the reconstruction and restoration in a functional and optimal state, in a residence for the elderly people of this city.
With the help of the Municipality of Elbasan it was possible to offer this service to the elders of the city of Elbasan, so much sought after by them.
In the following weeks, other elderly people will be accommodated, with a maximum capacity of up to 24 persons by the end of 2018. The goal of this Center is to provide a warm and family home with standard services.
