Today, on 22/06/2018, the “International Co – Operative Center” ICC,  in collaboration with the “Albanian Institute for International Studies” AIIS, organized a Focus Group on Causes of Religious Radicalization in Albania, as part of an AIIS study with the same topic.

The meeting was moderated by the CEO of the AIIS, Dr. Albert RAKIPI and Dr. Arben RAMKAJ. The participants were leaders and activists of the Civil Society, as well as representatives of the local Islamic Clergy, recently involved in the activities related to CVE. Discussions were based on different topics related to the Resurrection of Religion, Need of Strengthening the Financial Capacities and Independence of Religious Communities, Need to Strengthen the Legitimacy of State and Religious Institutions, Strengthening the Role of Women in Society, etc. Very interesting ideas were given, which are expected to be reflected in the material and recommendations of the AIID`s study.
